Working in conjunction with three major charities, we are proud to announce the grand opening of the Poppyscotland Hearts and Heroes Challenge website.

The Poppyscotland Hearts & Heroes Challenge is a team run or walk. The 29-mile route begins at the southern end of St Mary’s Loch and culminates in the beautiful town of Melrose.

Last November, ex-soldier (and Durham Productions' Project Manager) Mat Durham created a video of remembrance for The Scottish Poppy Appeal, which received acclaim from high profile Scotsmen such as Alex Mcleish and was described by Scottish First Minister Alex Salmond as an "extremely moving and compelling piece of work."

To follow on from last year's success, Mat has been asked to produce another video. With the bar set high, it's going to be a challenge. Stay tuned to view the finished production.

Fiona Lindsay is set to be the first woman in history to make a Trans-Antarctic journey across Antarctica.

Leaving in November 2009, Fiona will kite ski the 2,067 miles from Novolazerevskya, Antarctic coast via the South Pole and continue out to the coast finishing at Hercules Inlet by the end of January 2010. She will therefore hold the women’s record for the longest polar journey, and will be doing it within 75 days. Fiona will be undertaking the expedition unsupported with Ronnie Finsas, World Record Breaker for polar kiting.
